Types of wood Dennie has used in various carvings include oak, knotty pine, redwood, cedar, teak wood, Philippine mahogany, Hawaiian koa, and South American paduka. Accents for your door might include a unique antler door handle, inlaid turquoise or gold, or stained glass. Each door is hand rubbed with tung oil to bring out the rich warmth of the wood and provide a protective finish. These doors are especially striking in log, timber framed, adobe and cedar homes.
